Famous Hispanic Project for 8th grade

FAMOUS HISPANICS PROJECT

You will create a keynote presentation with a minimum of 15 slides. Your slides should contain the following:

1)The full name of your famous Hispanic-American

2) A picture of your famous Hispanic-American

3) The birth date (and if, applicable, the date of death) of your Hispanic notable.

4) Tell in a sentence or two why your notable is famous...i.e. achievement, influence on society, or contribution to society.

5) Five MEATY facts related to why he/she is famous...one fact per slide.

6) Tell at least one thing you found particularly interesting about your Hispanic notable.

(This can not be one of your Meaty Facts.) Explain why you find this interesting.

7) Add pictures and captions that will further enhance your keynote.

8)Must be COLORFUL, CREATIVE, INTERESTING. Be sure all spelling is correct!

9) List 5 Spanish words and their English translation that relate to your notable. Use a picture to illustrate each word.

10) You can also choose someone who is not on the list, but the must be Hispanic!!
