Hello Parents,

As your children already know, Friday will be the first Spanish Test. What will be on the test?

They must answer the following in Spanish:

-¿Cómo te llamas?

-¿Hablas español?

-¿Cómo estas?

They must answer in Spanish and a complete sentence.

-Spanish names for chicos and chicas

Vocabulary

-Hola

-Adiós

-Perdón

-Buenas Tardes

-Encantado

-Así, así

-Hasta luego

-Buenos días

They must also create a short conversation

¡Hola! In class we are learning how to describe ourselves and others. We will continue learning how to form sentences using the adjectives and the verb ser.

Spanish 1

¡Hola! In class we have learned to present ourselves and ask each other our names. Know we are going to learn the numbers 1-20 and the names of all the Spanish speaking countries. Homework for tomorrow!! Look for the capitol of 5 Spanish speaking countries. Quiz tomorrow!! We have our first quiz, it will be on the numbers, so have them study!!

Hello!! In class we are learning about adjectives and verbs. We have been putting to practice what we are learning in class with Oral Reports. Tomorrow we have a quiz on what we have already learned in class. We will continue to learn more about the things we like and do not like to do. I will keep you updated.

Grade: 6

Hello!!! In class we are learning to greet each other in Spanish. Tomorrow we have a quiz and we will continue to work on chapter 1. This entire Unit is about greetings. The best way for your child to get better in learning the language is to practice it after school.

Welcome students to the new 2011-2012 school year!! We are going to have an exciting school year in our new facilities!! I want to tell you that we are going to have lots of fun in Spanish Class, we are going to do a lot of practice in speaking Spanish and learn about the wonderful language. I have will update weekly this blog, so you can be aware of the things your child is learning in class. I will send home a Spanish supply list the first day of class.
